Ganesh Himal Trekking

Ganesh himal is to the west of Langtang Himal and east of Manasulu range. It stretches between the two rivers Trisuli and Budhigandaki. The main peak is Ganesh himal 7429m. the region has altogether 7peaks and all has its distinctive character. These mountains became famous since they can be seen from Kathmandu.
It is one of the precious areas where the simple life of Himalayas can be still observed. The charm of this area is that it offers quite but variegated trekking, visiting some peaceful villages of Tamangs, hot spas, gorges and glaciers.
The course starts from Trisuli bazaar, in the semitropical sun, goes up to a fairly high elevation, where a close view of Ganesh 7163m.can be enjoyed, and descends to Syaprubesi after crossing over two passes. The highest elevation is more than 4000m.

- Arriving into Kathmandu
Namaste and welcome to Nepal, You'll be met and assisted at the airport by our local representatives who will arrange your transfer and check in to your hotel.
- Day 2
- 02 Kathmandu and Valley
After breakfast today take time to enjoy a day of relaxed sightseeing on a guided tour to some of the highlights of Kathmandu and the surrounding valley. We'll begin with an easy walking tour of Durbar Square, a central social and religious hub of the city. Here we'll visit ancient palaces and temples including Hanuman Dhoka, Kastamandap temple and the living goddes kumari, From here we'll continue to Swoyambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, with its fine views over Kathmandu and many interesting feature as the city of fine Arts with its myriad of Temples and stunning architecture, After exploring Patan we'll drive back to the hotel - Day 3
- Trisuli – Salangkhu Khola
We drive to Trisuli in the morning and have lunch near the Trishuli Electricity Dam. After lunch we walk for about 3 hours to Salangkhu Khola and camp. - Day 4
- Salangkhu Khola – Balage Village
An easy walk and then a short climb takes us to Kalaeale village for lunch. After lunch we proceed to the big Tamang village of Balche for our overnight camp. - Day 5
- Balche Village – Gonga
We take an easy walk from Balche village through a forest and camp with the peaks of Langtang Lirung and Gosainkund in good view. - Day 6
- Gonga – Singla
We walk through rhododendron forest to camp either at Rupchet, a cattle pasture, or up on the Singla pass (4500m.) The Singla pass offers spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Baudha Pek, Himal Chuli, Machapuchare, South Annapurna and Annapurna II. - Day 7
- Singla – Pansang
We walk up the Singla hill following small trails to Pangsung for our overnight camp. The view from here is spectacular. - Day 8
- Pangsang – Serthung Village
We walk down through pine and rhododendron forest to the tamang village of serthung and set up camp with good views of mountains all around. - Day 9
- Serthung Village – Laba
A short trail and then a gradual descent through Barang village and then crossing the Akhu Khola takes us to Laba, a big Tamang village. - Day 10
- Laba – Mongeythanti
We climb gently over a hill and then descend through forest to camp at Mongeythanti. - Day 11
- Mongeythanti – Dumchet Vilage
A gradual walk down through forest with lunch by a stream brings us tour camp at Dumchet village. - Day 12
- Dumchet Village - Budigandaki
We take a gradual walk today to Baseri and camp near the Budigandaki River. - Day 13
- Budigandaki – Aroghat Bazaar
We walk along the bank of Budhigandaki River and stop at Arughat Bazaar for the night. There are teashops and a police station here. - Day 14
- Aroghat Bazaar – Khanchowk Danra
We gradually climb the Khanchowk Danra crossing the Mukti Khola and camp for the night. - Day 15
- Khanchowk Danra – Gorkha
We cross a ridge today and walk gradually up hill to Gorkha, camping near the old palace.Day - Day 16
- Gorkha - Kathmandu
We have a tour of Gorkha Palace, the palace of the King Prithivi Narayan Shah who united Nepal in 1881 AD and visit the Bazaar, before driving back to Kathmandu.

- At Leisure in Kathmandu. O/N Kathmandu Hotel.
An opportunity to relax and reflect on your adventures and to complete any sightseeing and last minute shopping. We will also organize an optional flight over Mt. Everest ($130 US) or an optional biking trip around the Kathmandu Valley. . Later this evening we'll all meet up for a group farewell Nepali food with typical dance. - Day 18
- Departure with warm Good Bye.
Today is free to relax until departure or to commence any additional trips or activities you may have booked. If departing, you will transferred to the International Airport in time for your return flight home.
